Its a girl!

I'm a girl A few nights ago, Eric and I got to play dress up and go out to a real live grownup formal holiday party. I wore these shoes. I hate shoes. I LOVE these shoes. Oh what evil lies within…… Where is the nearest shoe store? And can I wear these with jeans (as I am in the above picture?) and out in the ice?

And here we are all dressed up and ready to go…leaving 45 minutes late, thus explaining my personal stunningness as well as the pissed off expression on Eric’s face

And ladies, I know you are all jealous of a man who can pull off a 70s style polyester tuxedo – with ruffles (and no, it wasn’t a costume party), but this man is mine, all mine.

  1. Wow, you look amazing! I hope you had fun!

  2. Good lord! You are gorgeous! I mean…I knew you were hot, but oooh la la! Now I’m *sure* we could pull off the marriage thing and all.

    Now that tux? Hmmmm, LOL.

  3. Deanna, I LOVE THE HAIR (and the shoes!) You look gorgeous! The tuxedo, well, I love the color! Maybe if he lost the pissed off look, it might look better! lol

  4. Oh Deanna, you look beautiful! And, if I told Jon that such a tux existed, he’d bid whatever Eric could possibly want so he could own it. He’d wear it with his spats to the grocery store just because.

Maybe we should introduce them. ;)

  5. Thanks guys. We had a lot of fun. We got there shortly before they started seating for dinner, so Eric was happy that we weren’t really late after all, and everyone loved his tux. I think he’s been the talk of the office all week. Although I have heard that there is video footage of him dancing (which must include me – ugh…the whole time I was dancing I was trying not to fall off my shoes), and a picture of one of his employees LICKING him! LICKING him??????

Yeah…can you say “open bar?” – I thought you could….

  6. lol on your comment – great pictures. Glad to hear you had fun!

  7. A formal Christmas party? For grownups? Holy cow! LOVE the shoes! I’m with you, I hate shoes, especially with heels. But a while back I had to go to a wedding and went shoe shopping. To my surprise, I had a lot of fun just shopping for shoes, and found a pair of suede heels – the strappy kind and I LOVE THEM. Occasionally I torture my toes and wear them, and the pain is almost worth it. How girly! Now I know why those weird women have 500 pairs or more (not that I’m that crazy, but still).
