Locks of Love

Allison has been growing out her hair to make a donation to Locks of Love. Her hair grows slowly. Very slowly. Her donation is truly out of love because this has taken her a long time and she has wanted to cut it so many times during this process, but always talked herself out of it keeping Locks of Love as a goal..

Today was the day. Hair has to be 10 inches to donate. She cut off just over 10 inches. She made it. And she is THRILLED to have that hair gone. And did you know that Great Clips will give you a free haircut if you intend to donate? So there’s your frugal tip of the day. In order to save money, just go a REALLY long time between haircuts and once you have 10 inches to chop off, go to Great Clips for a free cut and help out a great organization like Locks of Love

Another side of Lydia

So the other day I posted what she did at bedtime – accessorizing her jammies to the max and proceeding to dance. Tonight I present to you another side of Lydia.

And in case you were wondering, this photo was taken in aperture priority mode, and I pulled out the tripod for this shot and set it at a longer exposure of 30 seconds (since Lydia wasn’t moving) and a lower ISO speed, and smaller aperture (or is it bigger…when the numbers go higher, its smaller, right? LOL) – just playing around really :-)
