I grew up as MTV began, but I never really understood the appeal of videos. To me music was always an auditory experience, and I just didn’t like to WATCH my music. I didn’t like having someone else’s images in my head as I experienced the music.
That said, there are two videos that really speak to me and rock my soul. They are:

Today I baked cookies for a bake sale/fundraiser. This was in between loading my kids in the minivan for gymnastics in the morning, piano early afternoon and tap dancing class late afternoon.
This is not my life………is it? Minivans? Gymnastics? BAKE SALES???
At least no one here plays soccer.
Lydia is currently refusing to watch tv because Meredith is watching tv, and right now she does not like Meredith. So Lydia is throwing a fit because she wants to watch tv, but can’t because Meredith is in the living room. I pointed out to her that they can both watch tv together, and this is Meredith’s house too, and if she doesn’t like Meredith right now then she can just go to another room and be by herself if she’d like, but Meredith doesn’t have to leave the living room, and can continue watching tv. Lydia’s response? An angry, “But Meredith’s not sharing the house!”
